Moises I. Benhabib

Moises I. Benhabib is the Principal of MIB Holdings.

He spent eight years at the U.S. Department of State, six of them in the Office of the Secretary supporting four Secretaries of State, carrying portfolios in critical and emerging technologies — AI, quantum and space — legislative affairs, and Western Hemisphere coordination. That service included the Negev Summit, the Afghanistan evacuation task force, the 2019 and 2020 Chief of Mission Conferences convening more than 150 U.S. ambassadors, and both the 2017 and 2021 presidential transitions, for which he built the clearance workflow governing sensitive policy materials moving between the Secretary’s office and the White House. He holds the Department’s Superior Honor Award and the General Raymond T. Odierno Leadership Award.

Since 2022 he has led federal and defense growth at Juvare, an AI-enabled critical-operations software company whose platforms serve more than 50 federal agencies, closing and managing more than $40 million in total federal contract value and securing mission priorities in the National Defense Authorization Act through engagement with more than 60 congressional offices. That work was performed for Juvare and is not claimed as past performance by MIB Holdings.

He serves on the governing board of the World Affairs Council of Miami, holds an M.A. in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics, where he is a doctoral candidate writing on statecraft in emerging technologies, and a B.A. from the University of Tampa. He holds an active TS/SCI clearance and is a native speaker of English and Spanish.
